Project:
Vessel Motion Control System |
Client:
Halcyon |
Description of work:
We developed in conjunction with halcyon a complete ships motion control system. The system measures the ships motions and through a series of advanced algorithms controls several control surfaces to counteract the motion of the ship to reduce sea sickness. |
|
Project:
Vessel Motion Control System Upgrade |
End User:
Euroferrys Pacifica http://www.euroferrys.com/ |
Description of work:
The project involved tailoring of the Halcyon motion control system to retrofit seamlessly to the vessels existing motion control system. |

Project:
Active Heave Compensated Winch |
End User:
Helix Well-Ops http://www.helixesg.com/wellops/index.html |
Description of work:
The project involved designing an intelligent control system to control the recovery and deployment of sub sea machinery. In most cases it is critical to keep the equipment stable while the surface deployment vessel is moved by the swell. The control system monitors these motions and compensates by releasing and retrieving the main winch to keep the load still. |
